After we found out that James is having a little brother yesterday, we went to the next city over to celebrate. I went to Hancock to get some new fabric for cloth diaper making. Then we had dinner at Outback where James got to try his first cheese fries and we discovered he likes cucumbers too. My husband and I decided that we wanted to make him feel special on this big day too, so we headed to the toy store to get him a present.
He picked out a Chuggington Wooden Railway and oh my goodness, he sure does love it! It's a great activity for Daddy and Toddler to play together. I'm pretty sure my husband had as much fun as James did.
James says choo choo! at the very beginning of the video!

YAY another boy! Congratulations!! The wooden trains are super fun, now all you need is a giant train table to take up an entire room in your house! :-)

Mallory, I was quite pleased with him liking a VEGETABLE.
Mychal, omg I looked at that darn table and it is $300! His little figure 8 set was $50 (it said $29 on the shelf though- mispriced). Those trains sure are a pretty penny! I guess they know mamas will buy them for their little boys regardless.

A train table would be a perfect joint gift for two little boys come Christmas time... :)

I love the idea of making it a celebration for James too! I used to love Brio trains when I was little and I'll probably have more fun with them when C gets some than he will :)

That's so sweet to make the occasion special for James too. It's funny how different babies are though. My mom got C a wooden train set like that for Christmas and he hardly gave it any attention. I put it away for when he's older and hopefully he'll like it better.
